If you have any doubt in the quality of character at Penn State, I DARE YOU to come to THON. we beat our total amount raised by over $1.1 million. That’s without a canning weekend, amidst scandal and stigmas that followed us wherever we went, and the loss of our coach. I have never been more proud to be a Nittany Lion than I was when they lifted those numbers. We are FTK dancing for a brighter day!!!
We have raised $10.6 million to fight childhood cancer!!!! These kids got a weekend to be kids, to not have to worry about medication, pain, sickness, and an uphill battle. They helped us realize the true meaning of life. The meaning of life is not how many breaths you take but how many moments take your breath away. Penn State is helping secure the fate of these brave little heros, and ensuring they have plenty of breaths, and even more moments that take their breath away.
One day, with the help of Penn State THON, cancer will be nothing more than a zodiac sign.
